“Pleasant”
The place was clean and kept up well, and the staff were friendly and even allowed pets. The only issue was that the TV in our room didn't work, and after we switched rooms the new TV was still broken.

The twenty‑minute drive up was pleasant, with a winding road leading into the canyon, but when we reached the end and the map said we had arrived, we were actually on a rocky riverbed. Two old, broken trailers were about 1,000 feet away, and calling for help yielded no response. I started to feel like I had been scammed and had to find a place to stay elsewhere.

It was nice that we could bring our dogs, and our room was very clean. The woman who worked the evening shift was kind. However, the website listed check‑in at 3 pm, but the actual check‑in wasn’t until 4 pm and the staff weren’t very friendly about it; they claimed the site was out of date and we had to wait with no apology. There was no coffee in the lobby, though a small coffee maker was in the room, and a coffee‑scented candle in the office smelled great. The woman who greeted us at arrival was rude and seemed annoyed by guests. The soda machine was broken, and the staff said it was the vendor’s fault and didn’t put a sign on it, even though they clearly knew it was happening.

The staff were helpful.

The front desk person was kind and apologized for three items that were broken or missing. The Wi‑Fi was down, the cable TV was down, the hot tub was broken, there was no microwave in the room, the bed rails were rusty and protruded, the mattresses were damaged, there were no extra towels, and the list of problems went on and on.
