This was my fourth visit to Aswan and I always stay at this place. I love Aswan and Elephantine Island, and the room is simply beautiful with a small balcony that’s perfect for early mornings and sunset. It’s gorgeous right on the Nile. There’s nothing I didn’t like; you can talk to the owner about anything, he’s very warm, helpful, and always there, especially if you’re a woman traveling alone and need a question answered or assistance.
During my stay the host gave me a lot of help; my phone had no data, so the host’s son showed me how to go to the service center, and when I checked in he prepared a welcome drink that tasted great. Everyone was super nice.

I can only recommend staying with Yasser and his family. They are very welcoming and helpful in every way. The room was big, very clean and we had a great view from the balcony. It was so peaceful and quiet and the surrounding area and views are stunning. It's only a short walk from the ferry but you can also take a boat from the house. Thanks for a great experience and hospitality
“The most magical stay we had in Egypt”
I’m SO SAD we could only stay one night. This place was an absolute dream. Yasser is the kindest Nubian man we’ve met. He gave us a tour of his farm, showed us his animals, and talked about his culture. The room? MAGICAL. You get the perfect view of the Nile from your balcony. We spent the day inside the room when it was 40 degrees, reading while also looking outside, with the fan on. It was just perfect. His son showed us where we could swim. But for me it’s how clean and comfortable this room was. The shower (compared to most we had in Egypt) was big and comfortable. The room was VERY clean, the ceiling was painted in a Nubian style with the tiles. And the balcony had two chairs for us to seat and enjoy the sparkly Nile with the dunes and the palaces in front. I am really hoping to come back to this guest house, honestly. Yasser THANK YOU. NOTHING. It was a 10/10 across the board!

Absolutely EVERYTHING! The view of the Nile is breathtaking, the place is so calm and beautiful! Our host Yasser is incredibly kind. His wife takes care of the food and the rooms is just wonderful, and we were able to go on a boat ride on the Nile with his son. NOTHING.
