The location was fine. The rooms had a conditioner that worked outside but seemed like it was working inside, and at night it was impossible to sleep.

It is close to the airport. The construction was noisy.

The breakfast was good, but the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.

The staff are wonderful – friendly, always ready to help and solve problems, so a big thank you to them. However, the room experience was a nightmare: we were moved three times. The first room on the first floor had “transparent” entrance doors, letting a lantern’s light glare straight into our eyes with no way to block it. The bathroom had no separation between shower and toilet, no curtain, so water splashed everywhere. The next day they shifted us to a second‑floor room that was cleaner, with fresh sheets and a bit larger, but we could hear everything – neighbors walking, doors slamming, walls shaking, even a small child crying until 1 am. Then at 5:30 am the next morning, someone started hammering and using a drill right outside the windows, and reception said they couldn’t do anything and offered another room change. We finally got a night of quiet, except for cockroaches running in the bathroom and ants on the walls. At 5:30 am the following morning the construction noise started again. I’m amazed people are willing to wield power tools at 5:30 am on a Sunday. The reception team kept offering new rooms, which kept us from leaving immediately, so credit to them. All these issues outweigh any positives, and I now prefer chain hotels in Tashkent if I want to sleep well and explore the city refreshed.
