The location is perfect for a few days of relaxation upon arrival in Madeira before heading out to explore the rest of the island, and the staff were outstanding without exception, providing excellent service and being very helpful.

The view and breakfast are great, the staff in the restaurant and at reception are very helpful and friendly, and the swimming pools are nice, yet we also enjoyed watching airplanes because the hotel is close to the airport.

The service is absolutely remarkable and excellent, with very friendly staff; the furniture, though a bit dated, remains in top condition and everything is very clean, the room was huge and comfortable, the exclusive breakfast was very tasty in a cozy atmosphere, and the pool is fantastic and large with sea access, though we never used the heated upper pool; the hotel is within walking distance of the airport, and we would recommend the free transfer if you have luggage.
