“Disappointing”
The location is convenient and close to the hospital. The room was far from clean, so dusty that we woke up congested and sneezing; the curtains, the wall above the bed, and the headboard were all dirty and dusty. Mildew was present above the shower, where the crown moulding was broken. The shower leaked badly, making the floor dangerously wet. The pillowcases and towels needed replacement – we found several holes and the towels were paper‑thin. The dining room chairs were uncomfortable, forcing us to sit on pillows because the seats were worn out. Overall cleanliness and tidiness around the property were disappointing, especially in areas visible to guests. To top it all, a large cockroach “greeted” me on my way out. A proper deep clean would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, when I raised this with the property manager, I was told that I booked the room, as if I knew what it looked like!!?? This room should not be available for booking because it poses a health and safety risk to guests.
