“Passez votre chemin !”
The spot is just a stone’s throw from the port, ideal for catching an early‑morning ferry, and the owner can speak French over the phone. Before arrival, she asked for ID documents via WhatsApp and never replied, even after reminders; you have to call her. When we got to the building, all the instructions for key pickup were given, and then we were led into a shared flat! There’s a common area and three rooms with no soundproofing. We booked room 4, but didn’t notice that the bathroom/toilet was separate. It could have been tolerable if not for the overpowering sewage smell—horrendous! Also there was no hot water, so showering was impossible, and given the state of the shower, I didn’t feel like it either. We’re not sure the sheets were clean (see photo). In short, we don’t recommend it and are very disappointed with our last night in Sardinia.
