The balcony gives a fantastic view of Virgen de Quito and Plaza San Francisco, and the location is great. However, the hot water doesn’t always work reliably while showering.

What we liked most was the hotel’s location next to Praça de São Francisco, right in the heart of Quito’s Historic Center. The São Francisco Monastery is beside the hotel, and a few blocks away are several stunning churches and museums full of history. There are also many restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. I strongly recommend staying here.

This place is a gem! I already booked a second stay. The room with the balcony was very spacious and the staff brought me breakfast to enjoy there—it was magical! The location is also very convenient, close to all the major spots in the old town. There’s a great rooftop, the room was spotless, and the staff were always ready to help. I checked in and out outside of work hours and they made sure to be there for me; I really appreciate that.
