It delivered on what I wanted, but being right next to the basilica meant constant traffic noise that was hard to ignore.

I liked that I could step out without worrying about who might open the gate, but the breakfast was a let‑down – stale bread, coffee that tasted more like tea – and the single‑occupancy room was cramped for four people, overpriced, and lacked a private bathroom. We won’t be coming back.

The location is decent and Jessica at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was okay, yet the overall experience was marred by a lot of issues: Vitória on the phone was rude and unhelpful, the rooms were not properly cleaned, linens smelled used, pillows were rock‑hard, and we even had to buy a blanket because one was soaked in sweat. The bathroom had no curtain or box, a window that let neighbors peek in, and the sink was right next to the shower.
