Unfortunately, the camp was tucked behind green trees and bushes at the edge of the dunes, with a small fee to walk into the budding desert. Nothing like a dessert camp. The staff seemed exhausted, perhaps due to Ramadan. The food was good. The tents were very clean and comfortable, which is a far cry from typical camping.
“Tolles Wüstenerlebnis mit Mustapha und seinem Team”
The location is better than any other campsites we’ve seen, with an unobstructed view of the dunes that you can reach on foot in a few minutes. The staff were young, very friendly, and always ready to help. The food was excellent and served in a large tent overlooking the dunes. In the evening they drummed and sang beautiful Berber songs by the campfire, which felt authentic and done with passion and dedication, not the typical tourist‑style performances you see elsewhere. Absolutely recommended!

Clean and comfy. The rooms were nicer in person than in the pictures. Overall a good experience with tasty food, entertainment, and a beautiful starry sky. The location is great and the staff are young, friendly, and always ready. However, do some research before booking activities like camel rides, quad biking, or 4x4s – the staff can be a bit slippery with prices. They’re vague about what’s included to charge as much as possible. We paid €30 per person for a camel ride advertised as a 60‑90 minute sunset adventure, but it turned out to be a 10‑minute ride right in front of the camp, a spot we could have walked to ourselves.

Everything was flawless—location, views, people, and the tents were even better than the photos, fully equipped and cozy. Mustapha, the organizer, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The night under a sky full of stars and drums is unforgettable 😍.
