The motel sits right next to all the conveniences we needed, and we appreciated being able to drive straight up to our door. Though the place shows its age, it’s spotlessly clean and the owner goes out of his way to make sure guests are satisfied. The only downside was that the décor felt a bit dated and the breakfast selection was somewhat limited.

Check‑in was a breeze, but the smoking area is located on the opposite side of the parking lot, which was a minor inconvenience.

The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower head could use a cleaning – the water flow wasn’t great, but it still worked.

The environment was very welcoming, even though the building is older; it’s well managed and maintained. The staff were kind and helpful, and the beds were pretty comfortable. There isn’t much to dislike, just the outdated building and the limited TV options.

Some of the guests are friendly, and the office lady is very nice. Most of the employees are pleasant, but they let their young children play in the parking lot, and I watched them almost run out onto York Rd.
