The stone and wood manor sits in the center of a small, charming town near Peñafiel and offers plenty of space. There is a rear courtyard with a well‑placed grill and a good dining room. The bathroom layout could be improved because the three double rooms on the first floor each have only one bathroom. There is another bathroom on the ground floor that is more general and close to the room on that floor, and a third on the second floor that has three beds and is almost exclusively for its occupants.

The house is beautiful and very large, located on the main square of a friendly village. The historic building was recently renovated and still keeps much of its historic character, even in the décor. From its location it is 8‑10 minutes by car to the center of Peñafiel and a good spot to visit the regional wineries. Marisa, our host, is very attentive and helpful. She gave us a lot of information about the house and surroundings, and handed us a very clean and tidy place. Minor details: in a rural house we expect to stay for a while, cooking ourselves and enjoying family and friends. I think the house could provide sharp kitchen knives, or at least a knife sharpener. The cutting board could be replaced, it’s very worn. One of the Italian coffee machines (the large one) needs a new gasket. That’s all to make the stay perfect!

One of the best, if not the best rural house we’ve been to. We traveled from Málaga and it has every detail for a perfect family stay. Absolute cleanliness, wood for the fireplace and barbecue, comfortable mattresses, ideal heating that makes you feel at home, and the owners are always attentive, making late check‑in hassle‑free. The location is perfect on the square of a town with an amazing atmosphere and people, highly recommended for family or friends. Great spot to visit Peñafiel and the wineries, and a very quiet place to stay. P.S. Thanks to the owner for sending us a jacket we forgot by messenger. In short, a spectacular family weekend visiting the Ribera del Duero, thanks to this accommodation. Everything was incredible and perfect: mattresses, cleaning, sheets, towels, bathrooms…
