For the price the room felt comfortable, clean and well‑equipped, though you can see a Shinkansen streaking by the window at high speed, which was a bit noisy – railway fans might actually enjoy that.

The room was tidy and the cleaning thorough, and the breakfast offered a decent range that left me satisfied. However, the water pressure in the bathroom was weak, the drain clogged easily and the bathtub had a large crack patched with some kind of filler, which looked far from ideal. Although I booked a breakfast‑included plan, no information about it was given at check‑in; when I asked the staff, they responded with a hint of irritation, which was very disappointing. I’m not sure if it was because I’m a foreign guest, but a more courteous explanation would have been appreciated. Also, the breakfast area was right next to the reception, cramped and far from a relaxed dining atmosphere.

The woman at the front desk was very polite and helpful, and my room was clean.

We stayed as a family and, even though the only room available was a smoking one, the smell wasn’t overwhelming and the room was clean; the kids loved seeing the Shinkansen from the window. The train noise wasn’t a big issue. The parking guidance was misleading – we were told that guests staying multiple nights could come and go, but on the first night the lot was full and we were sent to a distant lot, while on the second night we finally got a spot in the hotel’s garage. If the correct info had been given from the start, we could have secured a space earlier, which was a let‑down.

Breakfast was tasty, the welcome drink was a nice touch and the price was reasonable, but the cigarette smell was terrible and made me worry about the kids, and the dinner venue was located a considerable distance away.
