I was impressed by every aspect of the property, especially how the manager personally escorted me to the farm. Everything else was flawless, so I couldn’t find any negatives.

I had a terrible experience with the staff, who were unprofessional, rude, and kept insisting I hadn’t paid even though I paid through the app; they forced me to pay again with my card while my three grandsons were present. They claimed I was in the wrong room and that other guests wanted it, yet I had the key and had booked the room myself. Their knowledge of the booking system was nonexistent, and Maggi and her team harassed me both on site and over the phone, refusing to accept my confirmed booking and insisting I pay again. The whole situation was chaotic, with staff repeatedly knocking on my door and even walking in without permission. A third staff member demanded another photo of my ID even though it had already been taken at check‑in. They clearly don’t know their roles. The hotel displays an old TGCSA 4‑star plaque, but the TGCSA website shows they are not graded at all; the claim of a 4‑star rating is false advertising. The entrance and garden were a mess, littered with bricks, sand, and rubble, and the curtains were unfastened. The single towel in the room was dirty and had black marks. There was a dead protea arrangement where the microwave should be, no tea in the condiments holder, and the duvets were wrong‑side‑up with the button side on top. The toilet paper was improperly placed (not in waterfall style), and the beds were hollow and old. There were no towels at the dish basin. I declined breakfast because the overall condition was unacceptable, and I tried to cancel the booking but couldn’t because it was already paid and confirmed.

The bathtub and breakfast were fantastic, but we found a large dead cockroach in our room, which was disappointing.
