It’s close to the distillery, has an excellent Italian restaurant (Sarafina’s Italian Kitchen), a pretty lake, and a logging museum, but it’s very noisy because it’s right next to a busy highway. The heater and mini‑fridge were loud, the bathroom door hinge squeaked, and I didn’t get much sleep.

I needed the hotel because of a wedding nearby, so it was very close to the venue, and the room itself was great—comfortable bed and good sleep. The pillows weren’t great and there weren’t many options, but there were plenty of them. In some rooms, tall guests will have trouble sitting on the toilet because the knees hit the shower; it’s literally on the highway, so traffic noise is constant, and it’s pretty expensive for a motel.

The spot was great and the place stayed clean, especially the shower. The mattress was worn, the pillows were too hard, there weren't enough blankets, and the heater was broken, so I couldn't sleep. If they swapped in new beds, added more blankets, and fixed the heater, it would be perfect.

The room was tidy, roomy, and close to a bunch of eateries and bars, including a Bourbon distillery shop right across the street in a small mall – a nice spot to check out. The AC was a window unit that couldn't be adjusted, ran all night, and was a bit loud, but it was still better than no cooling. The hotel sits near the road, traffic was light, and the AC noise made the traffic barely noticeable.

The room itself had plenty of room, a little refrigerator and the microwave. We did not have access to an icemaker
