“Empfehlenswertes b&b-Wohnung mit sparst aufmerksamer Betreiberin!!!”
The owner was incredibly friendly, personally helping us plan our short trip to Verona and offering a lot of support. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, and more. The rooms were spacious enough, recently renovated, and had well-equipped bathrooms. Clean, with tidy towels and typical Italian bed sheets (a large sheet for two, I brought my own pillow), the bed was a bit firm and the frame made some noise when turning. Breakfast was served until 10:00 am, which was very convenient. A small fridge in the wardrobe stocked a good selection of drinks, and there are grocery stores nearby. Getting to the city center is easy by public transport; several bus lines stop close by, so it’s worth checking the Verona transport app beforehand and having a credit card ready for a €5 24‑hour ticket. The distance to the city and the upscale neighborhood ensure a quiet night even with windows open, plus there’s a working, remote‑controlled air‑conditioner that runs relatively quietly. The owner also gave us tips for dining at any price point, and there’s no need to worry about coffee and spritz—the density of cafés and bars in the city is exceptionally high! The only downside was the lack of TV in Verona; occasional news would have been nice, and while I know the online media libraries, some shows aren’t available abroad—so saving a German channel on the existing TV’s program memory would be helpful.
