Communication with the motel’s owner was clear and helpful, and we felt truly welcome. We absolutely loved the privacy of Cabin B and the comfy foam bed, making us feel more like staying with a friend than at a motel. Little extras such as bottled water, flavored seltzers in the full‑size fridge, and special skincare amenities were a nice touch. The motel is walkable to the entire town of Leadville and sits on the quiet end, ideal for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom lighting could be improved with a sconce or mirror light instead of the single overhead fixture.

We chose this place for its location and it offers good value with a full kitchen that includes a gas stove. The staff were nice and helpful, and the hot tub was great. However, as others have noted, the mattress should be replaced; two people end up sinking into the hole on top of each other. It shouldn’t be advertised as a Mountain View apartment—pictures from each window show no mountain, except a tiny glimpse from a specific spot. This feels somewhat deceptive given the advertising.

I parked in my own spot and the kitchen was great, with water and soft drinks and a cute goodie bag. The bed was comfy. The shower’s hot water worked, but the handbasin and kitchen sink stayed lukewarm. The sitting room lighting could use a tweak.
