I absolutely loved this Riad. Very cozy. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We had to leave early on our departure day and they were kind enough to pack us a to go breakfast
“Riad Anata is comfortable, convenient, and cheerful staff the met our expectations!”
We liked staying on the outskirts of the Medina because it was quiet and easy to locate; walking to the Blue Gate takes no time and no guide is needed. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind enough to bring it to us earlier each day to fit our schedule. Even black soap was provided in the bathroom. The rooftop felt cozy since we were the only guests there. Nothing else stood out.
“Impecable!”
The décor, the excellent service—especially from Mohammed—the convenient location, the food, and the little touches were all fantastic. Our blue room, which is comfortable and beautiful, is on the top floor, so the steep stairs are a bit of a workout and the room gets noisy during meal times because the rooftop where breakfast is served is close to neighboring riads. By 10 pm the noise stops, and the riad offered us a move to another room or to use the day‑time room of the Pb.
“An exceptional riad with incredibly welcoming and attentive staff who made our stay feel safe.”
The staff were incredibly friendly, respectful, and helpful throughout our stay. They were especially attentive when it came to food hygiene and making sure everything was safe and comfortable for international travellers like me. They listened carefully to my requests and were always very accommodating. The riad itself was clean, comfortable, and absolutely charming. You can really tell how much care and effort they put into creating a welcoming experience for their guests. Every promise was kept, everything went smoothly, and I genuinely have nothing to complain about. We had a wonderful stay!. I didn’t have the chance to use the pool, but I do wish it had been a little bigger and slightly more separated from the dining area. I completely understand that space is limited upstairs, so this wasn’t really an issue for me, just something that would have made the rooftop area even nicer
“Modern riad with a fabulous shower in a central location”
The riad sits in a central spot that’s relatively quiet and just a 10‑minute walk from the medina, which was super convenient. Our White room was modern, spotless, and featured a large shower with great water pressure—exactly what we needed after two nights in the desert. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was excellent, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We took a cooking class with Samira that day and would definitely recommend it. The only hiccup was that the riad was a bit hard to find at first because the parking lot and school mentioned in the directions weren’t on Google Maps; once you know where it is, it’s easy to get to. Being on the ground floor meant we could hear people checking in and out, but that wasn’t a major problem for us.
