The interiors feel plush, yet the windows are thin and let a lot of outside noise in.

This place has plenty of charm and history, with staff who are both helpful and courteous and a manager who is delightfully eccentric. The breakfast was tasty, and there was nothing to dislike.

The staff were pleasant and friendly, breakfast was good, and the public areas are steeped in history. Parking is included. The hotel room was decent in size but lacked heating; the radiator in the bedroom didn't work and the bathroom sink plug was defective, so the basin couldn't hold water. The bathroom radiator worked, but on a cold night a functioning bedroom radiator would have been appreciated.

The location was convenient, and both the Thursday night and Friday breakfast staff were excellent. The building’s history was fascinating, and free parking was available on site. There was nothing to dislike.

Location. Flush in toilet was broken. Loud party with music all night
