My room reservation was cancelled and after the money was taken I was notified. I was put in a little house at the end of the complex with my family. I had to walk with small children to the bathrooms several times a day. DISAPPOINTED
“Very good location, very clean room, friendly staff, but awful food.”
The room was very clean, towels and sheets were changed daily, plenty of lounge chairs by the beach. The food was awful; vegetables on the barbecue were raw, meat raw and smelled bad. Drinks at the bar were mostly water with colorants. I was disappointed with the food quality.
The reception staff were very courteous and helped when we had a bathroom issue. The room was cleaned regularly. We liked the evening program, it was fun. The food was definitely the biggest problem; it was basically awful, and most of the staff were foreigners who didn't speak Bulgarian, which we didn't like. The meat on the grill was frozen, the grill didn't heat properly and smelled terrible; if you try to eat outside, the food is fried or baked. One day the pancakes at breakfast were raw, raw meatballs and kebabs from the grill, tomatoes in the salad were not washed well and the plums visibly unwashed. On the first day of arrival, in one of the rooms there was raw liver.

Facilities were fine. The mattress quality was extremely poor, mold on the walls.

We booked Pelikan but were put in Royal Palace. The hotel is beautiful, the room spacious and bright, clean and comfortable. Food varied and tasty. Coffee is good in the restaurant and bars, and there was a capsule coffee machine in the room. The grounds are large, well‑maintained, green. The beach has fine sand, clear water, many loungers and umbrellas. Towels were always enough. Everything was wonderful, but unfortunately the beach was absolutely dirty: bottles, plastic and other trash, and after a small storm more litter appeared. No one tried to clean the beach during our 8 days. I hope this only happens at the end of the season in September. I can recommend the Dune hotel complex.
