Waitangi Holiday Park is situated on the banks of the Waitange River, near Te Tii Bay and local beaches. This riverside park offers proximity to Paihia village, a short ferry trip to Russell, and nearby supermarkets. Historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds are a 10-minute walk away. Amenities include communal bathrooms, a shared kitchen, laundry facilities, free gas BBQs, and an outdoor dining area with lounge and TV.

The cabin was immaculately clean, modern, and professionally presented, and the host was very good.

We stayed in cabin #4 and it was great – the beds were comfy and clean, a large bed and two king singles, and the TV was fine if you have kids; we brought our own for them to watch at night. The cabin was warm and cosy, equipped with a jug, toaster, microwave, fridge, pots, pans and utensils. The shared shower block offered good pressure. We loved our 3‑night stay and didn’t want to leave.

Everything about the property is perfect, though you have to shower during daylight because the bathroom sensor light turns on when you walk in and stays on for about 5 minutes. Not really an issue though.

That our cabin had everything we needed for our stay, nothing else. Loved the whole place.
