“Séjour agréable dans l’ensemble”
The room was decent with a partial view of the pool and sea, and the surrounding area is well served by a mall and restaurants. We were first given a ground‑floor room overlooking the parking lot (even though we were promised a resort view) and had to pay extra to switch to a room with a partial sea view.
“すばらしい。”
The park’s facilities include several pools, and the garden atmosphere is wonderful.
“The only thing four-star about this place was our excitement to leave.”
We only booked one night, which turned out to be the best decision because we could leave the next morning. The disappointment began as soon as we arrived: someone standing outside looked like a valet but was just watching us park our own car—a nice touch if you want the feeling of valet parking without any actual service. After checking in, a group of very loud, very drunk teenagers greeted us, and every guest seemed aware of them. Security seemed on a different vacation, and the overall atmosphere was depressing; guests looked miserable, and even the staff seemed like they’d rather be elsewhere. Around 1:00 a.m., we discovered the drunk teens were staying in the room next to ours, screaming, slamming doors, and banging on the walls so hard our bed frame shook. The front desk moved us to another room, which sounded promising until we opened the door and found it hadn’t been cleaned—despite the system showing it was ready. So back downstairs we went. By now it was about 1:30 a.m. The third time was almost the charm. We finally got a room that overlooked what appeared to be the hotel’s rooftop, and at least it was quieter. The next morning, the shower barely worked, so we enjoyed a refreshing cold shower before checking out—exactly what you want after a terrible night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation, keep driving. The Airbnbs we stayed in for the rest of our trip were infinitely better. This wasn’t just the worst hotel of our trip—it was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had in a long time.
Location, room, food, staff, and security are all great. The hotel adds an extra fee for parking, which should be included in the room package for registered guests. Parking is available at the King’s or Queen Shops.
The pool was great, but the staff’s attitude left something to be desired.
