Everything was very clean and the owners were friendly. The access was very difficult— a rough road that felt dangerous. There were no spacious common areas inside, making winter stays uncomfortable. We rented the house for 10 people, yet there were no sofas; we had to sit on chairs. The kitchen was tiny, and a strong chemical smell from treated wooden beams was unbearable.

The place is spectacular and the Alhambra suite was a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, other guests disrupted the calm and peace, though that wasn’t the fault of the hosts or the idyllic setting.

The peace and quiet were appreciated. The house smelled strongly of turpentine, had many stairs, lacked full kitchen equipment, a stray dog wandered around, there were no lounge or relaxation chairs, and the acoustics were poor. The price‑to‑quality ratio was disappointing.
