The place is a true haven for dogs and cats—there are literally animals everywhere, even on the table while you eat. It feels like a holiday dreamland, with the house squeezed into a village where every tiny building hosts animals and you hear them talking all day and night—pigs, dogs, roosters—so you can’t sleep. The design details and food are good here, but the beach is bad. The only downside is that it’s far from everything.

This resort is a prime example of thoughtful design—everything you need is there. The beach is clean with a house reef right in front, and the restaurant was one of the best we ate at in the Philippines. Diving, organization, boats, and guides exceeded all standards. The owners helped with logistics, further travel, and land tours. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the building itself is a masterpiece with lush gardens and a great pool. We loved the location, though it may not suit everyone because there’s nothing around.

I’m staying here for the second time and plan to keep coming back. The only downside is the very crappy access road from the main road—uneven and hard to navigate in a low vehicle. Since it’s a shared access, no one seems likely to maintain it.

It was a peaceful escape, surrounded by beautiful scenery far from everything. The hotel offered everything we needed, and the food was the best we ate on our trip. We loved seeing their well‑cared pets, especially Princess and Vanessa, and spotting turtles from the beachfront was amazing! There were no negatives; it was the perfect way to unwind before our long haul flight, and I wish we could have stayed another night.
