The old chateau really had character, and the swimming pool was lovely though cold and refreshing. Breakfast was continental, with great coffee served in a nice room. The only downside was that, being an old chateau, our room had a small window and felt quite dark, but it still had a lot of charm.

The place is truly magical—an old winery with a castle vibe and modern comforts. The owners are very friendly, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The view from our room of the pool and lake was wonderful. Our two‑year‑old would shout “wooow” every morning when we looked out the window. The garden terrace is perfect for sipping wine and stargazing, and the antique lanterns add a touch of charm. It was a shame to leave; if we ever come back to the area we’ll definitely stay here again! The breakfasts could have been more varied, but after all it’s France. We got used to the baguette with jam :D

A unique property with a beautiful pool. The breakfast was limited; a bit of charcuterie or a boiled egg would have finished it off. On the first day, because we were the only guests, we were offered cheese when we asked about it.
