“Sehr schöner Aufenthalt”

Very friendly, helpful, openhearted and funny – you just have to like the host Stefano. Great location, a very nice and quiet room with good equipment. The breakfast was also good and offered more than just the typical Italian fare. Two cats, one of which didn’t get “bothered” by my petting.

We had parking. The window light was weak in the room and bathroom. No shower in the bathroom. No TV. No spiders. An extremely disappointing and unpleasant experience that I do not recommend under any circumstances, especially to families with children. Problems began upon arrival due to the staff’s rigid and uncooperative attitude. Even though we had a child with us, we were not allowed to access the booked room for the child. They said the room was for 2 people. We requested an extra bed, citing that the room space was more than sufficient, but we were refused on the pretext that there were not enough square meters, even though the room was much larger than other hotels. Therefore, we were forced to purchase a second room for the child. The explanations given by management were absurd and unprofessional: they said they couldn’t help because there were “police checks at 2-3 am” – a totally abnormal explanation for a place that should be welcoming. I explained to the owner that even if I paid for another room, it would stay empty because the child would sleep with us. He said “WE HAVE NO WAY” and that the police would come at night and check our room. The comfort level and room facilities are severely lacking. No basic amenities: there was not even a small TV or a fridge in the rooms, which is unacceptable for current lodging standards. Windows were impossible to open: we had to keep the windows closed at all times because small lizards would enter and butterflies would sit on the windows. Bathroom on the hallway: in one of the rooms we had to take, the bathroom was not private but located on the hallway. Lack of privacy: the owner’s cat would uninvitedly enter rooms every time the door was slightly ajar. It would climb everywhere and leave fur. Cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality should be priorities, but in this location I only encountered stress, unjustified costs, and improper conditions.

“Tolle Gastgeber, sauberes Zimmer und ein super Frühstück.”

The hosts were extraordinarily helpful and truly incredibly nice. The breakfast was very good with many options. There was something for every taste. I will gladly return if I ever find myself in the area again. Thank you very much.
