“Absolut ruhig und idyllisch!”
Set in a largely abandoned village, it was both adventurous and wonderfully idyllic, with a direct view of the palm trees from the terrace.
The spot is truly stunning, and staying in a kasbah like this gives a one‑of‑a‑kind vibe. The tea and breakfast overlooking the palm grove were special highlights. Ismaël was a top host, and we really enjoyed chatting with him; he gave great advice and even bought us a pack of dates to avoid any scams. The room is small, but that’s to be expected; it’s well decorated and set up nicely. There are mosquitoes (the infamous kamikazes), yet the owner supplied a mosquito repellent and a screen for the room. On the downside, near the head of the bed there's a plug sticking out of the wall with exposed wires, which feels unsettling. The kitchen is practical but not particularly clean. The room’s 30 m² claim doesn’t match the actual space; it seems to include the kitchen (accessed from outside) and the terrace. We were surprised by the room size until we understood how the 30 m² were calculated, but we still preferred this charming little room over the larger ones we’ve stayed in elsewhere.
Thanks to Ismael for his warm welcome and kindness. The accommodation is impeccable and the view of the palm grove is stunning.
It’s wonderful to be inside a place with so much history and such a unique character. The access to the property was a bit tricky (especially with the rain) and not very convenient, but that’s understandable and part of its charm.
