“I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!”
I liked that there was a fan in the room. They overcharged me and blamed it on my bank. That’s why they don’t allow payment on booking so they can overcharge upon arrival. They don’t speak English so the clerk walked me up to my room but first took me into someone else’s dirty room but eventually found my room, and put her translation app on to give me the code to my door OUT LOUD! All the rooms are close together and the walls are thin so everyone had the code to my room. I cancelled my tour and stayed in my room on alert. I did not feel safe. They overcharge for airport shuttle to the airport, when uber is cheaper and very reliable. The hostel charges 50 soles bc she says they have to pay 7 soles for parking. Then blatantly lied and said if I use another form of transport, they’ll drop me off outside of the airport gate. Lies!!! Uber took me all the way in for 20 soles. I tipped 20 soles just to get rid of the currency and it was still cheaper than the hostel crooks taxi. The airport shuttle from the airport is NOT free, they add it to the cost of your room. They are scammers. The floors were dirty. Look at my socks after only 10 minutes!! Toilet was dirty. They forgot my towel so they left it on the community sofa in the common area. lol luckily I bring my own towels and cleaning supplies.
