We were greeted with tea, biscuits, or cake upon arrival, and Mark and Karen texted us a day or two before to suggest dinner spots and offer booking help. The bed linen was super soft and luxurious, and breakfast was fabulous and generous, with portions that were cooked to perfection—everything I could wish for, plus a nice walk later in the day. I couldn’t fault our stay.

The beds were very comfortable, and the room had more amenities than you’d expect, with thoughtful touches that left you wanting for nothing. Breakfast featured great coffee and quality food cooked perfectly. There was a guest lounge with drinks you could help yourself to, and you could pay later for the non‑comp ones. I wish we’d stayed longer to make use of everything :) Karen and Mark were extremely friendly and helpful. Literally nothing! The only thing that would be useful is a car charger, though; you don’t have to go far to find one in town.

Mark and Karen were the most wonderful hosts. Since we were arriving by bike, they kept track of our expected arrival time and we updated them about delays or slowing down. On arrival it felt like meeting old friends, with smiles and a big drink straight on hand. Our room was absolutely beautiful and immaculate, with lots of thoughtful details and treats. Staying here was an absolute delight.

Mark and Karen welcomed us. The room was large and had lots of facilities. The bed was comfortable. The generous breakfast had good quality ingredients. It was a lovely, relaxed stay. Thank you. Nothing to add.
