“A mid tier hotel with a luxurious coating”
The staff were generally kind and helpful, and the room was stocked with all the little things you might forget—sewing kit, pencil sharpener, toothpaste—so you’re likely to find a replacement if needed. I also liked the single shower setup. However, despite its upscale vibe, the hotel seemed to rely on staff willpower to stay together: the exchange rate board had one indicator stuck at 0, the elevator never went past the 6th floor, a faint tobacco scent lingered in the hallways, and on my last night the room had no power. There was always something broken, and the furniture felt stiff, which I managed but could bother others.
