“Verzorgd hotel, maar matige faciliteiten”

Right in the heart of the city, the place is nicely decorated, well‑kept and clean, and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the shower and the breakfast was rather basic for a Western palate—no good bread, yogurt or quark, and only papaya and watermelon for fruit. At night the neighboring mosque could be heard loudly, usually around 4 am and sometimes lasting an hour, which kept me from sleeping well. The rooftop pool is unimpressive, lacking lounge chairs, so you can only take a quick dip.

I liked the concept of the hotel, but a lot of areas need work. The smell was off, the toilets weren’t clean, and overall it looked old and dirty.

I was impressed with the hotel's staff, location, and breakfast offerings. The hotel's staff were friendly and helpful, the location was convenient, and the breakfast options were plentiful.

“Supercentraal, service hoog”

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel, which clearly had a lot of thought put into its design - from the convenient slope for carrying luggage to the alarm that alerts you if your door isn't closed properly. The curtains were also excellent at blocking out light, making the room incredibly dark at night. The buffet was extensive and offered a mix of regular and rotating options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooftop pool offered stunning views of the city.

I was pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a larger room due to the initial room being right in front of the elevator. The new room was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. However, I was taken aback by the hotel's massive size, which wasn't what I expected when booking. Additionally, the bathroom lacked a hand towel and hand soap, and the sound insulation wasn't great, making it easy to hear people in the hallway.
