“Highly recommended with charming hosts - just go!”
Diana and Noel are the most charming hosts, among the friendliest and most helpful we’ve met on our travels anywhere. Villa Rouge is a delight in every way. It sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Invercargill with off‑street parking. Lovingly restored, the house has plenty of character and the guest suite includes access to a lounge. Pristine and comfortable in every way, it makes for a very relaxing stay. The very spacious bathroom has more towels than I’ve ever seen! A cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs was delicious. If you want to stay in Invercargill, don’t hesitate to stay with Diana and Noel. Our only regret was that one night just wasn’t enough!
“A place to Definately come back to enjoy again.”
The vibe and the owners were simply amazing, making this a must‑visit experience. The breakfast was plentiful and prepared with care, sparking great conversations that added to the overall enjoyment. There’s nothing to dislike.
“A wonderful home to relax and recharge. Diana and Noel, thank you ☺️.”
The heritage home was absolutely stunning, lovingly restored by Diana and Noel. It’s a short walk to restaurants and a park, but staying there was even better. Diana and Noel felt like old friends, and we were sad to leave. No complaints at all—it was perfect.
A real museum with charming keepers.
The breakfast was incredible, and the location was super convenient for all nearby attractions. The hosts offered helpful suggestions on activities and the best ways to get around. Nothing negative.
