“Would not recommend staying here, overpriced and poor standards”

The staff member was friendly and did his best to try to accommodate us. I booked the family room that was supposed to have a balcony, a queen bed and a single bed, private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and breakfast included. The room we were offered had no balcony, it was a shared bathroom down the hallway, no tea and coffee making facilities, the room was dirty, it did have a queen bed but the second bed was a child size bed, would not fit an adult, I was told the room I had booked had been given to someone else and that breakfast was toast and cereal if I went to the pub in the morning but that didn't open until 11am. I was then offered a motel room around the corner, at least that had a private bathroom and a kettle but no other tea and coffee making facilities and it was cleaner than the hotel room, but the TV had no reception or Internet, the bed was two single beds pushed together and was the most uncomfortable thing I had ever slept on, I may as well have been camping. I then discovered that the short stay accommodation had brand new cabins available with full bathrooms and a kitchen that would have cost me less. Absolutely would not recommend staying at the hotel very poor facilities at inflated prices, even the restaurant $30 for a margherita pizza

The location was great and the manager made access very easy and was accommodating to our request for early check-in. Rooms were clean just a little lacking in expectations. Only 1 towel for 2 people and very limited necessities. Location was great and room size excellent , just very close to other guests and can hear everyone all night in the rooms

“A comfortable and interesting stay at a gorgeous heritage country pub.”

For a historic hotel, the cleanliness was spotless, and the staff were helpful and courteous whenever we asked for help. The bed was comfy and the shower had great pressure with hot water. We watched football in the cozy bar and had a drink, though we didn’t dine there; others said the food was excellent. It was a nice stop while we were at the local event. The room was a bit pricey, and the ad promised a flat‑screen TV and a private bathroom, but the room had no TV and the bathroom was shared down the hall. We only had one towel and a flannel sheet without a doona or blanket, but the staff quickly supplied an extra towel and a comfy doona, so that issue was fixed.
