“Hier würde ich nie wieder hinfahren -es war ungemütlich und ungastlich.”

The location was nice because it’s next to a forest and quiet. The hotel looked pretty run down and not like the photos; the flowers inside and on the terrace were neglected or wilted. The terrace was completely unpaved – weeds popped up between the stones and everything was dry – you couldn’t sit there. When I entered the room, the curtain was half‑torn down, the nightstand lamp hung on wires from the wall, the shower drain smelled damp, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close – it jammed. Nothing worked! In the lobby and the general guest area, cameras were everywhere instead of attentive staff, and the breakfast table was sometimes dirty. I’d pay about 40 instead of 140 € for this.

The location is still excellent, but after staying here three years ago the place feels far less cared for; the breakfast was terrible with stale bread, dirty dishes, a coffee machine that looked never‑cleaned and a very limited selection. Other guests say it was fine a year ago, so a change of ownership must have occurred.

The location is great, right in the city centre, with a bike path right outside the building. Parking for an extra fee is fine. The accommodation is very simple. The staff are friendly. The room is very sparse, the furniture is old, and not all sockets work. Cleanliness could be better. Room cleaning and towel changes are only on request. The value for money is rather low.

The room was very small and painted dark; the wardrobe door was broken and tiny. The equipment was minimalist, not especially clean, and it was very noisy. Breakfast was tailored to the number of guests, so it was very tidy. Some rolls were from the previous day. No on‑site contact could explain why the hotel had a 24‑hour security service. The back rooms on the courtyard are probably rented to asylum seekers, which explains the security presence. There’s no restaurant, but every evening the residents of the back rooms gathered in the kitchen and cooked there, so the whole hotel and rooms were saturated with strong food odors.

The hotel has a great location and is very quiet; the town centre is reachable on foot. Throughout our stay we spoke to no one, were neither greeted nor said goodbye. Check‑in was via a key box. With another couple, we seemed to be the only guests. The hotel has charm, especially the spacious dining room, but it’s unfortunately very untidy: dust, spiders, wilted flowers, broken lights, dirty upholstery. The outdoor areas are also poorly maintained. The place feels abandoned and has a strange, unpleasant vibe. Several people with walkie‑talkies and/or laptops were in the hotel; they weren’t guests or staff and we didn’t know their role. Our room was very small and painted dark, letting in almost no daylight. A nightstand lamp and the mirror lighting in the smaller bathroom were broken. The breakfast selection was limited. On the first day the food was fresh, but the next days the same items were offered again and became inedible by the third day. The cheese and cold cuts were unappetizing, the eggs were cold, and the bread/rolls were repeatedly reheated. We would never stay here again.
