I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the porridge, and the quiet location helped me sleep well; the bed was cozy and warm, with extra blankets available. The only downside was that water took a while to drain from the shower tray, but that’s a minor issue.

The family farmhouse had excellent facilities and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived, and the breakfast was freshly homemade and delicious.
