The hotel is 1 km from Palermo Cathedral and Teatro Massimo, within walking distance of UNESCO World Heritage sites, and features a bar and conference room.

The location was good, but the room was small. The room was only ready at 14h even though the promised check‑out time was 12h. The balcony was in bad condition and unusable, and we couldn’t adjust the air‑conditioning ourselves.

The hotel is wonderful and well‑located. The shower is very small; at 1.55 tall and 55 kilos I barely fit. The staff are professional and friendly. I had to struggle to get the key to the lock. The location is fine, but the possibility of 24‑hour check‑in is limited.

The staff were very pleasant, especially the person who served breakfast (Concetta). The location is excellent because it’s close to the station and the restaurants and entertainment area. The building feels a bit old, and to reach the room we had to climb a metal staircase to the upper floor.

The hotel was fine in every respect except the location. It has a bit of faded glory; a hundred years ago it would have been like a palace. If you leave the hotel and turn left you walk toward the main tourist area with many nice restaurants and shops. If you turn left (toward where the car parking is) it is full of foreigners, is dirty and I did not feel safe.

The only advantages are the distance from the station and the old city center, and the fact that you can leave your luggage after check‑out. The hotel is quite old and looks exactly like the city of Palermo, deplorable. The air‑conditioning worked nonstop without an option to turn it off, no remote control was available. The bathroom is old, the shower very small, the cabin defective. In most of the city the atmosphere feels like Africa, Bangladesh, India… I would not recommend it unless you are in transit, maximum one night.
