The room is very nice and modernly furnished. The bed is great with a very good mattress. The balcony offers a lovely view of the well‑maintained garden. The tavern kitchen is superb, serving authentic homemade Körntner specialties.

The setting is quiet (even the church across the street was silent after 10 pm). The staff is very attentive and diligent, even during breakfast where they cater to individual preferences. The beds are very good, so no back pain. The balcony offers a beautiful view. The sauna was always turned on at request – 30 min warm‑up time. There are enough free parking spaces. It’s a good base for tours in the tri‑border area, and I’d gladly return. No elevator. The breakfast buffet wasn’t always restocked promptly, but it was replenished immediately when mentioned. The fresh produce selection was missing; only one jam variety was offered and it was too thin, spilling onto the bread. The sauna lacked sufficient drinks/water, a clock for orientation, and the diving pool was too small with no direct fresh air or garden access – a pity.

Everything matched what I had imagined and hoped for. The dinner was very good and the staff is excellent. I would definitely travel back here again.

The rooms were gorgeous, staff super friendly. Perfect spot if you’re riding through Austria, Slovenia, Italy – the place is right on the road. Even though the restaurant’s closed, they still offer three dishes for guests. And there are a few other inns just a stone’s throw away. All in all, nothing to complain about.
