Nestled among olive groves, Momentum Resort in Marinella di Selinunte lies just 2 km from the beach and the expansive Selinunte Ancient Greek Archaeological Park. The hotel preserves original antique furnishings around a spacious courtyard, offering air‑conditioned rooms with digital TV and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a garden terrace, locally sourced Sicilian cuisine, and buffet breakfast served in‑room or courtyard.

The décor is contemporary yet warm, and the hotel is a fine example of restoring an old baglio. Being close to the temples is a plus. We enjoyed the olive groves surrounding the property and the beautiful infinity pool, where we could watch a stunning sunset in late September. The downside is the proximity to a very busy road; we paid a hefty surcharge to avoid a room on the road side, yet traffic noise still seeped into the garden‑side rooms. So the calm and serenity promised on the hotel’s website didn’t materialise. The staff were polite but not welcoming, which is surprising for Sicily where hospitality is a real value.

Everything was perfect. The hotel feels isolated, and there isn’t enough storage space in the rooms.

The setting is beautiful with an awesome view of the olive grove from the pool. The staff were really friendly, the buffet had plenty of fruit and nice pastries, and the teens were happy. The only drawback is that the rooms (we had two) had no view, which is a pity given how gorgeous the surroundings are.

The stay was very pleasant. The structure is welcoming and panoramic with a good restaurant, and the breakfast was decent. It could be richer, though.
