The pet-friendly Sandman Hotel and Suites Squamish is located off the Sea & Sky Highway, 2 miles from downtown Squamish and 51 miles from Vancouver International Airport. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, work desk, and free Wi-Fi. A gym is available, and Whistler Blackcomb ski area is a 50-minute drive away.

The place is perfect for mountain biking, and the staff are genuinely friendly and kind. The hot tub was a huge relief after a ride, and the hotel even lets you lock your bike in the room. A bike wash station sits just outside the entrance. Breakfast comes included, though a few more options would have been nice but that’s a small thing.

The spot is great and the front desk people are super welcoming. The dining room’s recycling setup was confusing and ended up messing up the recycling.

The pool area, hot tub, and a nice water slide are solid, and the family room is well equipped and very roomy. The rooms feel a bit outdated, and while the location is easy to reach by car, there’s not much to do on foot.
