Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley sits in Ollantaytambo’s Living Inka City, the heart of the Sacred Valley and gateway to Machu Picchu. A five‑minute walk reaches the archaeological site, ten minutes to the main square, and fifteen minutes to the train station. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, complimentary American breakfast, spacious rooms with private baths, garden and mountain views, and a tranquil, flower‑filled garden.

The hotel sits a little out of the city center, making it a quiet retreat with a nice patio, stunning mountain views and the occasional hummingbird. The host was very helpful – I needed to contact the title of the next room in Cusco, and he called them and sorted it out. The room was roomy, spotless, with a big bed and a brand‑new bathroom. There’s a guest kitchen that could come in handy for longer stays. We didn’t have time for a full breakfast, but the coffee was surprisingly delicious – we didn’t expect that! The host speaks good English. Getting there with luggage was a bit tricky because it’s an uphill walk without a proper pavement that gets chaotic when a train arrives (the host said there was a shortcut, but it doesn’t show up on Google Maps). Other than that, everything was perfect.

This was one of my favorite hotels during my trip to Peru; everything felt very familiar. The breakfast is delicious, the staff service is impeccable, the room is comfortable and you get great rest. The views are impressive and the location is excellent. Everything was perfect :)

Beautiful setting, very friendly and caring staff, good breakfast, amazing garden. It’s attached to the center with the market and archaeological sites. The shower water wasn’t very hot.

The staff’s attention is truly wonderful, always ready to help. The surroundings have a beautiful garden and the view from our room to the Apu Veronica was incomparable.
