Renée and Mark are fantastic hosts, setting up the place with creativity and meticulous detail. If you love nature and want a relaxing break, “The Cat and The Owl” is the right spot, and we truly enjoyed our short escape. However, the passage from the room to the outdoor terrace is a bit challenging for someone with a disability because it isn’t wheelchair‑accessible.

Gewoon de gemoedelijkheid,openheid,vriendelijkheid ,lekker correct. Dat doet ze goed. Gastvrouw stond open voor vragen en je behoeften wat je nog nodig had. Gastvrouw staat voor je klaar. Echt helemaal top. Eigenlijk wil we er niks meer over zeggen. Want, We willen dit plekje voor ons zelf houden! Ps het ontbijt. Echt Echt een topper. Alles van de lokale producten uit de omgeving. En dat proef je echt. Elke dag een ander ontbijtje. Met veel zorg gedaan. Voor de tweede keer geweest. Het was weer helemaal super Renee. We hebben weer echt genoten. Eigenlijk niets. Wel iets? Maar daar kunnen jullie niets aan doen. De maisveld van de buren. Het weidse uitzicht hadden we nu ff niet van het terras. Maar we hebben genoten van jullie verblijf. Echt top. Achterhoek super super gezellig vriendelijk en lekker gemoedelijk. En heel behulpzaam. We voelen ons echt thuis in de Achterhoek. Wij houden hiervan. De nuchterheid en gewoon doen. En gewoon lekker door. En elkaar helpen

“Heerlijk verblijf, fantastisch ontbijt en schitterend uitzicht”

The setup is wonderfully spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic. Slip‑resistant steps are needed for the terrace (rough wooden deck).
