The location was great. We were unlucky to have a Ferrari parked outside my room, and the driver took ten minutes to rev it up at 7 am—nothing the hotel’s fault, but parking is right outside the room. I should have mentioned this earlier. I did appreciate the lovely, friendly staff who organized breakfast to be ready as soon as the restaurant opened so we could catch the ferry. It was delicious, too.

The room was beautiful, modern, and clean, with a nice layout and coffee and tea facilities. It was great that the cozy pub was nearby, where you could really enjoy English food. We had to leave early for the boat, but they gave us a bag with breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel at 8 am to catch the ferry to Calais, and the place is about 15 minutes from the port. We had booked a table at the pub and the food turned out to be super tasty – definitely worth trying. The room came with breakfast, and because we left early we managed to grab a bit to eat. The downside was that the pub stayed lit all night, and the room was very bright. Also, the bathroom only had a bathtub for showering.

Basic comfortable accommodation and good location for us as we had a wedding nearby. Breakfast was good too
