Our host Alejandro was exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and open, a very loving, mature, and thoughtful person with whom you could have deep conversations and instantly feel a warm connection. We had just the right balance of connection and privacy. The lodge is within walking distance of the beach and only a few car minutes from the national park, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. Casa Mambo felt like a small island where we could return after daily activities. Each day began with a different, beautifully prepared breakfast, and from the open seating area you could always spot various species of poison dart frogs in the garden. The entire property is lovingly designed, with attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, offering a very pleasant, relaxed, and secure atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return anytime; we highly recommend Lodge Casa Mamba to everyone. Instead of the third bed in the room that we, as a couple, didn’t need, we would have liked a couch or seating area with a reading lamp. And in the outdoor area, in addition to the outdoor shower, a faucet to rinse sand from our feet would have been nice. But those are small things – otherwise everything was perfect.
