The view was nice and the pool looked beautiful. I booked room 101, but the sewage smell was overwhelming, and the first floor felt like a semi‑basement. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, and even after requesting repairs on the last day, nothing was fixed.

The spot is great—just 400 m from the sea on the main pedestrian street. The bathroom was convenient and fairly clean. The hotel manager was always on hand and eager to help with any issues. The pool was lovely, though I didn’t get to use it. The biggest perk is the lack of animation, so it stays quiet—kids aren’t welcome here. Breakfast was hearty and varied; you don’t get lobsters at home. The cleaning was terrible. Over 13 days, the linens were changed only once, and that only after the manager was repeatedly asked. Floors were wiped, but the marks from glasses on the nightstands stayed forever. I kept tips at a reasonable level (as suggested in reviews) at first, but stopped because it didn’t make a difference. There was plenty of toilet paper and toiletries.

A nice hotel with very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was good. It’s a short walk to the main street and a 10‑minute walk to the beach. Even though it’s close to the center, it’s not noisy. We’ll come back.
