Everything was excellent—happy with the family vibe, the kitchen, the comfortable room, and the peaceful setting, so I’ll definitely return; the only drawbacks were the Wi‑Fi speed, hot water, air‑conditioning, and kitchen room, and the family’s location is 700 m from Kabala Beach, Ahangama City, and Koggala.

The spot sits in a quiet, safe area and is within walking distance of the main road, so you can stroll out whenever you like. Outside there’s plenty of seating so you’re not confined to the room, and the kitchen/common area comes stocked with everything you need. The only downside for me was that the mattress felt a bit too firm.

The room was spotless and the location was very quiet, just a 10‑minute walk to Kabalana beach. The house looks pretty new, and the host was very friendly and helped me set up a scooter. The downside was that the downstairs room is somewhat dark and a little humid, so I think the upper rooms might be better.

Marvellous place with a super friendly host :) It’s incredibly clean, the bed is very comfy, and the price is great. We absolutely loved it!

Helpful and friendly hosts that you can easily reach out to. The room itself is tidy, the bathroom is great, and the surroundings are calm. A tuk‑tuk can take you to the center, and the beach is just across the street, which is awesome.
