“Just what we needed”
I really enjoyed the vintage‑style décor, and the basic room amenities were exactly what we needed.

The beds were comfy, but the black mold in my bathroom was a major issue.

The location is pet friendly, which was a plus.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but the heating unit in the room worked poorly, sometimes staying on and becoming dangerous. The hot portion of breakfast was at least 30 minutes late each day and not fit to eat; if the quality is this bad, they’d be better off not offering breakfast at all.

The breakfast spot was very convenient with plenty of cereal, bread, and bagels, and the bed/mattress was very comfortable. However, the tub shower curtain was soiled and the rod was upside down, so the curtain wouldn’t stay in place while showering. There was no handrail in the tub, no sink stopper (I almost dropped something down the drain), and the room needed a makeover because of burn marks in the carpet and cracks in the bathroom floor. No one seemed to monitor the breakfast area during service, so I had to go downstairs for more bowls and coffee. Some guests were very timid and just gave up. The fabric seats on the chairs in our room were all soiled or stained, and the staff were not very friendly or welcoming—they didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay.
