“Not recomended to stay”

The location was convenient for site visits, but room 103 had a very bad bathroom smell—probably the water siphon was broken or the sewer smell was back‑flowing, so it needs immediate repair. I asked for a late checkout and offered extra payment, but the receptionist said it wasn’t necessary and that I could stay until 4 pm. At 12 pm the room was suddenly shut down and everything went black, and the evening staff didn’t inform the morning staff—very bad miscommunication. Please improve.

“Modest look from the outside but very spacious rooms”

The hotel sits in a very strategic spot with great nearby eateries (the best is nasi dagang across the building). The room is spacious enough to perform solat and even bring a bicycle inside. The staff go above and beyond with their hospitality; I borrowed a telekung for praying from one of them, and the morning shift helped us find transport back to Ipoh. The reception and rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors with no elevator, so it’s not suitable for disabled guests.
