This Riad is very beautiful and centrally located yet still quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and it’s convenient that the Riad also serves alcoholic drinks, which is rare in Morocco. We were very warmly welcomed, especially Omar who took perfect care of us; he’s super friendly and loves speaking in the local language with guests.

The Riad sits right in the heart of the Medina, everything is within walking distance. A parking spot is right at Place Battha, so we could bring our luggage ourselves. The Riad and our room exude a 1001 Nights vibe. We were very kindly received and attended to. The breakfast was tasty, including Shashukka, and felt like a small ceremony. Our room was on the ground floor next to the patio, so we could hear everything, including city noises. If you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.

The breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the staff were kind. However, the staff zipped up our luggage while cleaning the room; it would have been better to leave the suitcases as they were.

The welcome and kindness of Omar and the entire staff stood out. The proximity to the Medina, the generous breakfasts, and the excellent dinner were all highlights.

Access was easy, the staff were very devoted, and the location was very close to the blue Bab Boujloub gate and the souks. The Moroccan breakfast was very good. The only downside was the many stairs, as is common with most Riads.
