The Posada Real La Vieja Chimenea was flawless, and the hosts Toñi and Javier are unforgettable, always asking what else you need and radiating warmth—two true “beings of light.” We’ll be back. The TV was a bit blurry, but that’s a joke; we didn’t miss it because the conversations with Toñi and Javier after dinner—tales of the old Celtic fireplace and their trips to Morocco—were far more entertaining than any television.

The location was great for seeing the main sights. It did get very hot, which wasn’t anyone’s fault, and there was no air conditioning; we were warned about this, and the night was fine, but it was still a drawback.
