The hotel’s website claimed a free breakfast, but that wasn’t actually part of my booking, and the communication about it was confusing.

The spot was convenient, and the kids were thrilled by the water slide. However, the rooms were dated; they advertised two queen beds but delivered two double ones. The carpeting on the floors was filthy, staining socks or leaving black marks on bare feet. The rooms had a musty odor and were not very clean, and paying $200 a night felt steep for what was offered.
