“Enttäuscht”
The room’s hygiene and comfort were good, but it was disappointing that I had to go to the service station for breakfast in the wind and rain. The breakfast itself was fine, but eating at a service station isn’t what I expect. I was also disappointed that the hotel’s entrance was a large empty hall, with one side belonging to Dean & David and the other to the Bikini Museum. My brother and I had no chance to sit comfortably at a bar in the evening and drink together, so I won’t book this hotel again. That’s a shame because the location is ideal. Make sure the lobby is lively for guests and offers food and drinks in the evenings, not just a place to stay; otherwise the price‑value ratio doesn’t hold up.

Nothing positive. What a huge let‑down! We stayed overnight on our way home because of the good reviews, but the reality was completely different. The hotel was filthy: dirty floors, black hair and trash from previous guests, and a grimy toilet seat. The room was also terribly noisy. The window couldn’t open because of the trucker restaurant and the constantly passing trucks. We skipped the €36 breakfast for two adults and a 4‑year‑old, which was served on the other side at the trucker café. We’re glad we could get back home. I’ll never stay at Plaza Inn Bad Rappenau again.
